‘Raspberry Hill’ screens in Finnish Competition at the 43rd Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival
Raspberry Hill goes Oulu!
Our SKOOP Family jewel ‘Raspberry Hill‘ will be screened at this year’s Oulu Film Festival in Oslo. The children‘s suspense mini-series is part of the festival‘s Finnish Competition – fingers crossed!
Raspberry Hill is based on the Finnish- Swedish author Eva Frantz’s 2018 thriller for children and young people. The book won the 2019 Runeberg Junior Prize, where children themselves vote for the best book of the year. Raspberry Hill was a huge success, largely because it was – unconventionally – a scary story, and on account of the courageous way it tackled themes such as death, greed, evil and romance in an honest, non-adapted way.
The 43rd Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival runs from Nov 16-24.
Screening time of Raspberry Hill: Studio Wed 20.11. at 17:00 | Tickets 6 € | Guest: Director Saara Cantell
