Mini Zlatan and Uncle Darling wins Film Critics’ Prize at 30th International Chrildrens’ Film Festival in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

The 30th International Children’s Film Festival in Schwäbisch Gmünd ended yesterday.
The prize of the film critics’ jury for the best children’s film was awarded this year to the film
“Mini Zlatan and Uncle Darling”. Jury statement:

Children are reluctant to share what they love most with others. But that is exactly what the protagonist of this story has to do.  Embedded in warm colours and a largely ideal world, the film consistently tells the story of searching for, finding and sharing real friendships from a child’s perspective.
In a completely unagitated way, it paints a contemporary picture of society that is characterised by diversity and variety. The Film Critics’ Prize goes to the Swedish film “Mini-Zlatan and Uncle Darling” by Christian Lo. Congratulations!
