Cinekid Lion Awards for Seven Little Criminals and Floor Rules!
On Friday October 26th at the Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam, the jury and audience awards were presented for the best youth television and children’s films of 2019. The television series SEVEN LITTLE CRIMINALS by director Rob Lücker (VPRO) was awarded the Cinekid Lion for Best Dutch Fiction Series.
FLOOR RULES! was the proud winner of the Cinekid Lion National Audience Award. It is not the first time the quirky family series (who is also nominated for an International Emmy Kids Award) was awarded, at Cinekid 2018 Festival the jury unanimously chose Floor Rules! for a Lion Jury Prize for Best Fiction Series because of the well written scripts, visual finds and jokes. The 3rd season of FLOOR RULES! is currently in production.
